Pulse on the Road in 2011!

LA Kelley Communications took its popular PEN’s Insurance Pulse On The Road! to 5 cities in 2011. This educational and interactive, live symposium will feature different expert speakers who will address a variety of insurance and healthcare reform topics of immediate and relevant importance to families with hemophilia.

For example, the passing of H.R. 3590: The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act has raised many questions for bleeding disorder patients. PEN’s Insurance Pulse On The Road! will address concerns about how the H.R. 3590 will benefit patients and what risks might be incurred from those seeking to block or change health care reform. Not all problems are solved due to the passing of the bill, and a shared concern is that the hemophilia community could lapse into complacency, and miss opportunities to maintain access to care for all.
