Empowering yourself to design and elevate your life requires education. The hemophilia community is fortunate to have abundant scholarships available to current and future college students with bleeding disorders to help them get the education they need to live the lives they dream.

Biogen Idec Hemophilia offers multiple scholarships totaling $50,000 with individual awards ranging from $2,500 - $7,000. |
Candidate: |
US citizens and legal permanent residents with hemophilia A or B who are pursuing a vocational or technical certificate, a 2- or 4-year degree program or graduate degree. Eligible applicants include high school seniors or graduates, or college students (undergraduate or graduate) enrolled in a 2- or 4-year accredited college, university, or vocational/technical school. |

Any individual who is diagnosed with a congenital or acquired chronic bleeding disorder and who has attended a hemophilia treatment center’s comprehensive clinic annually including this past year of 2011 is eligible. The applicant must have maintained a GPA of 2.5 or above and are enrolled or plan to enroll, as a full or part-time student at an accredited vocational/trade school, technical school, junior college, or a four-year college/university. |

U.S citizenship and demonstrated leadership through service or volunteer work in the bleeding disorders community are also required. |
