From Story to Song: Creating the First Hemophilia Album

This is a paid public announcement from Sanofi Genzyme and does not constitute an endorsement of products or services. When you click on the links in this blog entry, you will be directed to a Sanofi Genzyme website. LA Kelley Communications always advises you to be a savvy consumer when contacting any company; do not reveal identifying information against your will.

Poet and Harvard Professor Henry Wadsworth Longfellow once famously said, “Music is the universal language of mankind.” Every note and every song have the potential to transcend cultural boundaries and connect us in unique and special ways.

With that spirit in mind, Sanofi Genzyme is inviting the community to join us as we aspire to change what Hemophilia sounds like. During these ongoing, uncertain times, one constant remains true – the perseverance and support among the bleeding disorders community remains steadfast and stronger than ever. We want to celebrate that spirit in a whole new way – through the power of music.

Sanofi Genzyme is giving bold stories the chance to redefine what it means to live with Hemophilia, instead of being held back by it. It all starts with turning your stories into songs that speak to the spirit that runs through our community’s blood. Stories from community members who strive to live life to the fullest despite their condition.

Sanofi Genzyme is working with major-label record producers to turn those stories into an album, and we want to hear what you’ve got to say.

GETTING INVOLVED IS SIMPLE

  1. Email HemStories@vprpop.com, saying you’d like more info about Sanofi Genzyme’s hemophilia album project.
  2. Fill out a short questionnaire about your background.
  3. Sit back and get excited. You’re about to make history.

The Hemophilia community has a universal bond, and if music is the universal language, we hope that this album will be a perfect way to celebrate our common experiences and discover authentic, relatable stories from people just like you.
