The Royal Disease

I’ve always been fascinated by history, especially Russian history, as it is so closely linked to hemophilia. Why? The last Tsar of Russia, Nicolas II, had a son with hemophilia. And it may have cost him the throne. That’s a whole history lesson, but you can read the short version of it in our book, “Alexis, the Prince Who had Hemophilia.” It’s meant for school-age children, but adults will enjoy it as a quick but informative read. And it’s free!

Speaking of quick reads, I love this infogram, recently posted by the Karachi Chapter of the Hemophilia Foundation of Pakistan. Well done!

Once you read our book and read this infogram, you will know why Prince Charles, and his heirs, do not have hemophilia. Read up!
